this introduces 1 frame lag and doesn't support hires
Because he does only 7mhz pixelclock
he's does crude deinterlace too . Nice that he opensource it, but tbh indi is more than that

riporto dal sito: The drawback compared to other solutions like the Indivison scandoubler is, that the board can be used on A2000 devices only.

(quindi va solo in 320x256?)

sì dovrebbe essere così.
per la risoluzione non so, se fosse come dici è preoccupante! però qua dice: For a 640x512 image at a color depth of 3x4 bit you need to store 320k x 12bit with a pixel clock of around 7 MHz

no the flickerfixer won't work on A4000 due to multiple reasons:
- The physical connector is different
- The A4000 has 8 bit color depth, so you would need more RAM to store
the image
- The A4000 is aware of way more different resolutions and
horizontal/vertical frequencies, which would require a way more
sophisticated controller board to cope with all of them. The A2000 only
knows 640x512 interlace and 640x256 progressive. This keeps things simple.
I think I actually used IS61WV25616 asynchronous high speed SRAMs from
ISSI (I'll double check this weekend). These are common devices. There
are multiple devices from various manufactures with the same pinout
available. Just make sure that the pinout matches, it can be operated at
28 MHz (less than 30ns access time) and runs on 3,3V.
